Karl recently performed a concert to 700 people at the historical Orpheum theater off Route 66 in Flagstaff. He was the headline musical guest for Flagstaff’s annual Northern Arizona Book Festival. This was Karl’s biggest concert since performing at George Washington university’s Marvin Center in Washington DC.
Other special guests included the author Billy Collins reading excerpts from his best selling book Lemony Snicket. Karl’s set included Finnegans Wake (a tribute to James Joyce), To the Waters and the Wild by W.B. Yeats, and The Rocky road to Dublin.
The performance was extremely well received by the audience and local press. Karl is now booked all over Northern Arizona through the summer, with strong CD sales and following in Flagstaff and Sedona, Arizona.
